Pass the Puns, Please, Hallowe'en Style

In honor of the holiday that dentists everywhere cherish, I present to you this little piece of cheese on this snowy Sunday morning. So, with out further ado, enjoy!

A man was walking home alone late one foggy night, when behind him he hears:

BUMP...

BUMP...

BUMP...

Walking faster, he looks back and through the fog he makes out the image of an upright casket banging its way down the middle of the street toward him.

BUMP...

BUMP...

BUMP...

Terrified, the man begins to run toward his home, the casket bouncing quickly behind him...

FASTER...

FASTER...

BUMP...

BUMP...

BUMP...

He runs up to his door, fumbles with his keys, opens the door, rushes in, slams and locks the door behind him!

However, the casket crashes through his door, with the lid of the casket clapping...

clappity-BUMP...

clappity-BUMP...

clappity-BUMP...

on his heels, the terrified man runs!

Rushing upstairs to the bathroom, the man locks himself in. His heart is pounding; his head is reeling; his breath is coming in sobbing gasps!

With a loud CRASH the casket breaks down the door!

Bumping and clapping toward him!

The man screams and reaches for something, anything, but all he can find is a bottle of cough syrup!

Desperate, he throws the cough syrup at the casket...

and......

(I hope you're ready for this!!)

THE COFFIN STOPS!

I have grave-ly misjudged your affinity for bad puns, dear ghoul--er, girl. Hope you have a great tomb--er, time, this Hallowe'en...

You're a twisted monkey...and I loved it! I shall tell my daughter this little diddy and she will think I am the smartest most wittest mother in the world. Of course I'll never mention that I heard it here first.

Thanks for the laugh and makin me such a cool mom in my 13 yr olds eyes.

Well, you've made my Monday morning. What a very cute pun-joke and I am still laughing. You had me going, not knowing where you were leading us, but we soon found out that you are genuinely warped and so funny. I loved it.
